St Eoghan’s Primary School are incredibly excited to announce that they came 16th place in Ireland Rocks - a times tables competition run Times Tables Rock Stars for Maths Week Ireland.

The competition was fierce with 12,283,307 questions answered collectively by 17,898 pupils from more than 333 schools and 1,163 classes in Ireland!

Our school stats were astonishing too. On average our top class (Primary 7) answered 1,877 questions correctly per pupil, with the best performing pupil (a P.5) answering an amazing 8,256 questions correctly in total over the 3 days of the competition! This P.5 pupil was in the top fifty pupils in Ireland throughout the competition, finishing in 46th place out of 17,898 pupils! 🤩
