Inspirational visit from Sister Elaine Bradley
Our school community has been honoured to receive a visit from Sister Elaine Bradley, auntie of three of our pupils. Our Primary 4-7 children were enraptured and inspired by her beautiful words.
Sister Elaine explained all about her life in Assisi as a nun and responded to a wide range of questions from our pupils. She told us about how all God asks of us is to be a kind person, and how you don't have to be perfect, but just try your best! She told us that the best thing about being a nun is being able to dedicate her life to God and getting to help people, and making the world a better place through God's love for us. Sister Elaine prayed with us and promised to pray for us, and presented a very special gift to our Primary 4 pupils as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist.
In the words of Sister Elaine, "When you do good things, it makes you happy".
